Silhouette of the Soul

This book celebrates the miracle of life. However, it does not blindly endorse popular definitions of God, but their essence. It does not blindly endorse popular religions, but their essence. It does not blindly promote any dogma, but our autonomous thinking to transcend it. This book sets out to honour the essence of all Divine mysteries through figurative explorations. For instance, the notion of God is compared to the Light that illuminates the Universe, and religions to the shades of a rainbow. They are, but byproducts after having been filtered through a prism. This prims is the human mind. It interprets everything, and presents its perspectives always with a bias. Indeed because regardless how much comfort any shade of religion provides, it could never represent the full glory of God. Nor could it answer for its “seed;” the human soul and its dynamic role and paradoxical presence. Because it is not made of this world to be subjected to the rules of this world even though it is the most vital enabler of life in the very same world. Thereby, rather than describing it to be the silhouette of life, considering our limited lifespan enlivened by its eternal presence, the opposite may be entertained. The following pages aim to do exactly that by exploring such mysteries to define our identity not mere physical, mental and emotional, but spiritual beings.
