If I May .. I Have Something to Say

This books is about applying common sense to the hectic world. But what is common sense? Well, most people would know not to eat yellow snow, count their chickens before they hatch, kick their honey-bucket over, bite off more than they can chew, spit in the wind, and definitely not to be naive when something seems too good to be true. No sensible person would make the above mistakes and suffer the consequences. But then why would certain groups comprising of many persons, fail to apply such common sense? Why would the world at large increasingly operate on shortsighted agendas within our social and natural environments? Unfortunately, there is no simple answer to this question, which’s why I chose to listen to the collective wisdom of certain people. Indeed, this book is a community project. Its messages were inspired by the many conversations I’ve had with good everyday people mostly in coffeeshops. They believed the world had to change before it was too late. They believed that by now it had become too technologically and materialistically driven and like a runaway train, out of control. So how could this be fixed? My coffee comrades proposed some common sense solutions. They emphasized restraint and old fashioned accountability. They wanted our politicians operate more responsibly. They hoped to see them apply more common sense solutions on their own instead of carrying on with pretentious posturing.
